Wedding Wire Reviews

wedding-wire-rated-badgeWhat a great year so far! We are so fortunate to be able to work with so many amazing couples. Thank you for all the great reviews on Wedding Wire! We love making your events a success, and are proud when we accomplish it.
Here are a few from recent events:
The Day of Direction package was the best money we spent in the entire process. Seriously–if you are considering a coordinator there is no “maybe” — DO IT!  If you are in the process of planning your wedding, you are probably still excited about all of the fun choices you get to make and all of the details…. but on your day you do NOT want to be worrying about those details. The wedding day is the moment for your vendors to shine, the day when you should have the confidence to say to them “I trust your judgment, do what you think is best”. If you hire Betsy and Christopher, rest assured that you can trust their judgment and expertise. They are professionals in the truest sense of the word and I would recommend them to anyone.

Betsy & Christopher Kolomitz were wonderful to work with. They were more than willing to work with any changes or additions I needed to make to my wedding rentals. Very professional, responsive and friendly. They were also willing to offer me advice and recommendations to other local vendors, as I knew very little about the location of my wedding. All of the rentals were in pristine condition as well! I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Hiring event settings rental was the best possible decision we could have made to make our wedding successful. I didn’t have to worry about a thing on my wedding day, which made it so stress free and enjoyable. Betsy helped make a schedule, made sure everything was in place and that the day went smoothly. We rented linens and chairs from them too and everything was just gorgeous. Highly recommended.

Lauren and Brian were so much fun to work with. We had several roles in their wedding. Chair Rental, Sound equipment, Lights, and Day of Direction.

Lauren was planning the wedding from Washington DC and decided to keep it simple, fun and have a GREAT band! The food at Mt. Princeton was Lasagna, caesar salad and garlic bread. It was delicious!

Michelle Gapp with Kalamatapit Katering did several different flavor cakes for the cake table.

Flowers by Jane with Rancho Verde Flowers.

The Band was Raising Cane out of Denver

River Orchard Place {Poncha Springs Colorado}

A few months ago we met Emily and Max out at River Orchard Place to get the lay of the land there. Christopher had done a few small rental deliveries there and I had not been yet.

It was originally homestead in the 1800’s on 600 acres as hunting cabins. Some of their guest included Roy Rogers and Dwight Eisenhower.

River Orchard Place specialize in weddings and reunions, because of the gorgeous grounds. There are five cabins all with a mini refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot. Perfect for your wedding party or family to stay at.

The grounds have a perfect spot to set up a 30 x 40 tent for an outdoor wedding. The area is surrounded by large cotton wood trees, and the South Arkansas River runs along the property. There is a small apple orchard on part of the property. If you are up for a small hike to the look out tower the views of the Collegiate Peaks are breath-taking.

April & David’s Wedding – Salida SteamPlant

April & David had so many hidden and special touches to their wedding that only their closest friends and family knew about.

Putting the programs in bottles(the bottles for the guest to blow on the tops after they said “I DO”) and then in “Jane” David’s raft(who is named after his grandmother), canning jars from David’s mom, cake cutter from Aprils parent’s wedding, favorite winery Holy Cross from Canon City, table numbers(we loved them so much we bought them) and an Arch made by David’s Dad, pumpkin pie that David’s mom made from pumpkin his dad grew, pecan pie that David’s mom made, April’s favorite Apple Pie, the band were friends of the couple. These are just the few things that I knew about.

April’s brother had the BEST TOAST I’ve heard all season. He made you really feel like part of the family and know the “brother” side of how BL got to know his sister.

I was a busy day for Christopher and I. We not only did the Day of Coordination to make the day run smoothly and take all the worries and stress from Denise and April, we also did the chairs, napkins, china, silverware, photo booth, picture bookmarks.

Thank you Katja Deitz Wedding and Events for doing the planning, Rustingram-catering, Rise and Shine-Apple Pie, Salida SteamPlant-Venue, Riverside  Park-Ceremony, Palace Hotel-where the couple stayed
